Learning lives
between the lines

At Interlinear, we believe AI has the power to fundamentally transform education for the better.

We build technology that addresses real learning challenges when students need it most - during homework struggles, when facing language barriers, or when traditional resources fall short.

Our tools give students independence by transforming learning materials into practical resources they can use without constant guidance, prioritizing deep understanding over convenient shortcuts.

Education first, technology second

Our AI enhances proven learning processes rather than replacing them with flashy alternatives. Every feature serves a specific educational purpose.

Tools that include everyone

We create access points for students who might otherwise get left behind due to language barriers, learning differences, or lack of support resources.

Personalized without being prescriptive

We build flexibility into our tools, recognizing that effective learning requires different approaches at different times - from structured practice to open exploration.

The story behind Interlinear

I started Interlinear after seeing a fundamental problem in education: Learning is deeply personal, yet our educational systems can't scale individual attention. In a classroom with 30 students and one teacher, many learners inevitably fall through the cracks - either moving too slowly or too quickly through material they don't fully grasp.

My background in educational technology showed me that despite our best efforts, traditional approaches weren't solving this problem. Technology was supposed to be the answer, but neither teachers nor traditional educational software have successfully provided all learners with consistent, personalized, insightful feedback at scale.

Now, with advances in AI, we're at a turning point. I've built Lexie and Yomi to make this technology accessible to all students in a simple, approachable format.
